The present text includes the results of an archaeological-genealogical analysis on the conditions that have been making possible the emergence of the subject, understanding it as an incipient and unfinished process, which, however, makes it possible to elucidate moments of rupture and change of course with respect to an issue that is considered to be immovable and unquestionable: the sex-gender binary system, from which subjects are categorized and classified according to their genitality. From this exercise, it was possible to clarify that the trans man subject has not fully emerged, and that its particular struggles continue to be equated with the struggles of the sexual dissident movements (gays, lesbians and bisexuals).
