espanolEl objetivo de esta investigacion es diagnosticar la existencia de sitios con potencial para el desarrollo de turismo oscuro en Cucuta (Colombia) y su area metropolitana. A traves del metodo de la valoracion contingente se estima el valor de bienes (productos o servicios) para los que no existe mercado, mediante metodos cualitativos se simula un mercado para verificar la importancia de los sitios y valorar la posibilidad de nombrarlos bien turistico. Como resultado se identificaron 4 recursos turisticos, 3 corresponden a elementos tangibles, posibles bienes de interes cultural y 1 de tradicion oral. Se concluye que en Cucuta y su area metropolitana existen potenciales sitios para el desarrollo del turismo oscuro, identificados a partir de hechos anecdoticos de diferentes epocas y acontecimientos historicos de la ciudad, teniendo en cuenta el historial de sucesos acontecidos en torno a la violencia y las circunstancias de frontera que ha venido desarrollando. EnglishThe objective of this research is to diagnose the existence of sites with potential for the development of dark tourism in Cucuta (Colombia) and its metropolitan area. Through the contingent valuation method, the value of goods (products or services) for which there is no market is estimated; a market is simulated by qualitative methods to verify the importance of the sites and to evaluate the possibility of naming them a tourist asset. As a result, 4 tourism resources were identified, 3 correspond to tangible elements possible assets of cultural interest and 1 of oral tradition. It is concluded that in Cucuta and its metropolitan area, there are sites for the development of dark tourism or any type of tourism of a cultural nature related to the repair of victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.
