The present research had an objective to investigate the relations between the ?Skills and Competencies Program? for the life of Fe y Alegria, as well as coexistence and the classroom climate in seven schools granted to Fe y Alegria and five public schools in the cities of Barranquilla, Cartagena, Giron, Monteria and Bogota. This research adopted a non-experimental, mixed-focus, transectional correlational approach. The results showed several elements that lead to thinking about the protagonist role of the Program in the process of improving classroom climate and coexistence in the schools of Fe y Alegria. The teachers value positively the contents contemplated in the Program and attribute to it various improvements that are observed between the students and the teachers themselves. Students, in turn, show a progressive appropriation of the contents of the Program over the years. It was also possible to verify some aspects of the Program and its implementation that indicate the need to make adjustments for greater effectiveness in the comprehensive education that it proposes.
