Ex-situ, a concept from Biology, that refers to the maintenance of some components of biodiversity outside their natural habitats. Practices that occur when humans are faced to a change of a habitable geography and/or displacement to another living place. As a relational being he must adapt himself to the new environment’s customs, with different traditions from his place of origin. Many artists, from this perspective, have proposed to go to unknown places to understand a new environment from the subjectiveness, criticizing the work of cultural tourism and relating to a new way of walking as atypical travelers. The present article aims to analyze the work of these artists who from their city or outside, become agents promoting discourses of resistance and social dialogue based on art; pursuing to reflect on their works, the evaluation instances of the same and the concept from which they leave; understanding what are the discursive limits of their work and the repercussions they have had for the country.
