Law exists being inextricably linked to politics and economics. In the same way as these, it can be known and investigated in two of its dimensions: a. as a social practice b. as theory. As a practice or social fact, law manifests itself in the form of a system of mandatory rules, values and principles, which governs social relations. A particular feature is its coercivity, guaranteed by legal political institutions (the police, judges, prisons, the constitution and laws). Interdependence of the Law and the emergence, development and functioning of the State, constitutes a fundamental characteristic of the social organization of the state. Law cannot exist without the State that produces or guarantees legal rules and ensures its compliance, by applying the corresponding penalties for violators of the rules if necessary.
