The growing inequality that is currently presented in the world from the unequal distribution of food, served as incentive for the disadvantaged population build-community social that permit, in a way, overcome the difficulties that this process entails not only in Colombia but worldwide. Permaculture, is one such alternative strategy, providing tools for the development of communities and individuals from different social spheres, such as economics, education, health, spirituality, among others, making it, in one way or another , resistance to globalizing neoliberal model, example, food sovereignty, which is aimed at defining the agricultural, fishing, food and land policies themselves that are ecologically, socially, economically and culturally appropriate to their unique circumstances, or that is, to the specificities of context, population and territory. However, in the Bello district east of the city of Medellin, some orchards are planned from permaculture to food sovereignty by the local people and, most of whom are displaced, victims of built violence in the country. These gardens were funded by the municipal administration in the garden project bypassing of Medellin in a program of the EDU (Urban Development Company of Medellin) focused on food and nutrition security. In this process it was possible to observe the whole work of the municipal administration, the displaced victims of the violence that lives in the neighborhood and interested external parties that are committed to building community and strengthening community organizations of the neighborhood.
