The nutritional problems in children today represent a huge difficulty for public health; According to the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC, 2012), more than 17% of the Colombian population under the age of five has some problem related to malnutrition, low weight and height, overweight, anemia and micronutrient deficiency. This topic has been studied extensively from areas such as medicine, nutrition or sociodemographic factors and quality of life, but not in the same way from the emotional - affective and psychological components. In the searches of bibliographic bases and scientific dissemination in search of antecedents, few investigations were found that indicate a relation between the affective factors and the nutritional problems in the children of the early childhood and the environment of the psychological cares. Therefore, this research intends to characterize the present attachment styles in children that present nutritional problems between 1/2 to 5 years in the municipalities of Apartado and Carepa. Four dyads were evaluated through a semi-structured interview and the Argentine procedure of the strange APRA situation. Among some of the results it was found that 1 of the 4 children (case 1) have a secure type of attachment. For their part, cases 2 and 3 classified for an insecure / ambivalent type attachment. Finally it was evidenced as 1 of the four cases (case 4) presented an insecure attachment. These cases allowed to reveal how the mothers do not relate the nutritional problems with difficulties in the affective bond; The nutritional problems of children are addressed from medical and nutritional aspects, each dyad has unique characteristics, and by analyzing them you can realize that there is a relationship from the affective bond with the particular nutritional problem.
