IMPACTO DE LAS TECNOLOGÍAS DE INFORMACIÓN Y COMUNICACIÓN EN EL RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO DE LOS ESTUDIANTES EN LAS ESCUELAS SECUNDARIAS DEL DEPARTAMENTO DE CÓRDOBA – COLOMBIA
The information technology and communication are considered a potential transformation in the nature of education as to where and how it produces the teaching – learning. The present study aimed to identify the effect of TICs on academic performance of students in secondary schools in the department of Cordoba - Colombia. The study was supported by the authors Castells (2003), Bates (2001), Ministry of TIC - Colombia and the education law or the law 115 of 1994. With Explanatory study and a quasi-experimental, El studied sample corresponds to 50 students of both sexes, belonging to the ninth degree of the two institutions, the use instrument was the observation and 2 modalities the observation guides and the final notes of the student were applied. A software SPSS, they were carried out the statistical test to measure they yield of the student; and be/she was proven that the investigation hypothesis was rejected and the null hypothesis accepted. Finally by analyzing the correlation between TIC and academic performance, You find that the yield academic negatively is effected principal the lack of moral compromises by the teacher and even by the student thus the all academic agents with themselves. No forgetting the appropriate pedagogy used by the teacher in the educative institution without media and technology where his/her classes are efficient, understandable and easy. This weighs to determine that the TIC not impact positively in the yield academic of the students. With a level of trust 0, 05 with 48 grades de freedom rejecting the investigation hypothesis.
