RESUMO : A religiao e uma das dimensoes mais importantes da vida humana. Da sentido a vida e a morte. O luto e denominado uma reacao natural na vida das pessoas, esse processo decorre da perda de um ente querido, sendo que essa perda pode ser vivida tanto de forma individual como no contexto familiar. Este estudo teve por objetivo avaliar a influencia da religiosidade na elaboracao do processo de luto. Como abordagem metodologica utilizou-se a pesquisa quanti-qualitativa do tipo exploratoria descritiva. Participaram da pesquisa quatorze membros de uma instituicao religiosa da cidade de Rolim de Moura – RO. Para coleta de dados foram utilizados dois instrumentos, o primeiro um questionario que possibilitou coletar informacoes sociodemograficas. O segundo e o Questionario Sobre o Luto (QSL) com adaptacoes, o qual permite perceber as alteracoes e transformacoes que ocorrem na vida das pessoas em processo de luto. Os dados obtidos foram organizados quantitativamente, convertidos em termos percentuais e dispostos em tabelas. As informacoes obtidas atraves da pergunta aberta, foram analisados por meio da Analise de Conteudo de Bardin (2007). Constatou-se que a religiosidade e relevante na elaboracao do processo de luto, pois atraves dela as pessoas recebem suporte espiritual e social para enfrentar o processo de luto Palavras-chave: Religiao. Religiosidade. Processo de luto. The influence of religiosity towards the mourning process ABSTRACT: Religion is one of the most important dimensions of human life. It gives meaning to life and death. Mourning is known as a natural reaction in people's lives, this process stems from the loss of a loved one, and this loss can be experienced both individually and in the family context. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of religiosity in the elaboration of the mourning process. As a methodological approach we used the quantitative-qualitative research of descriptive exploratory type. Fourteen members of a religious institution in the city of Rolim de Moura - RO participated in the study. Two instruments were used to collect data; the first one was a questionnaire that enabled sociodemographic information to be collected. The second is the Questionnaire on Mourning (QSL) with adaptations, which allows us to perceive the changes and transformations that occur in the lives of people in the mourning process. The obtained data was organized quantitatively, converted in percentage terms and arranged in tables. The information obtained through the open question was analyzed through the Bardin Content Analysis (2007). It was found that religiosity is relevant in the elaboration of the mourning process, because through it people receive spiritual and social support to face the mourning process. ­­ Keywords: Religion.
