The Donum Vitae has emphasized the awareness of the human being's domain and science limits over the nature. In the same way science and technology cannot be converted or established as the only criteria and structures of orientation on the issues inherent in the human being and his process of humanization. Both, human embryo and human person are a fundamental constitutive reality, in the bodily, spiritual, cultural and transcendent character of the human condition. The life of every living organism is not exhausted or reduced to its existence of biological or biomedical nature, but requires a philosophical justification and an understanding of openness to transcendence, in the condition of possibility that life and the same human being allow, not only in its pluricellular dynamism, but socially. It is in agreement with the fundamental postulate that the Donum Vitae when expressing the inviolability of the right to life for every human being, from the moment of conception until his death, being the defense of life, the axis of the discussion about the statute of the human embryo, where the respect to the human being and to the identity of the person is reiterated.
