espanolLa investigacion bibliografica tiene como objetivo presentar un analisis teorico en relacion al rol del psicologo en la escuela y su quehacer frente a la educacion para la sexualidad. La exploracion se hace con la intencion de mostrar al lector el resultado de la revision en torno a interrogantes como ?cual es el papel del psicologo en la escuela frente a la educacion para la sexualidad?, ?como se desarrolla la sexualidad en ninos y adolescentes? y ?que actores influyen en el desarrollo de la educacion para la sexualidad? El proceso de recoleccion de informacion se ejecuto en dos fases. En la primera, las categorias empleadas de manera deductiva, fueron las palabras clave rol del psicologo, escuela, educacion para la sexualidad, sexualidad, adolescencia y ninez; que llevaron a la eleccion de 65 documentos y articulos procedentes de diferentes bases de datos. En la segunda fase el proceso de seleccion se realizo de manera inductiva, utilizando las categorias construidas a partir del analisis de los resumenes de la primera fase, se seleccionaron un total de 54 documentos que orientaron la construccion general del texto. Desde esta perspectiva, el articulo recoge diferentes posturas teorico - conceptuales orientadas a establecer una mirada global en relacion al rol del psicologo en la escuela frente a la educacion para la sexualidad EnglishThis research study is intended to present a theoretical analysis in regards to the psychologist´s role at school and his relationship with the sexual education. The exploration is made with the intention of showing the reader the result of the revision with the following queries: What is the psychologist´s role at school and what is his relation with the sexual education? How is sexuality in children and teenagers developed? And what issues influence the development of the sexual education? The data gathering process was developed in two phases. In the first phase, the categories used in a deductive way, were the key words of the psychologist’s role, school, sexual education, sexuality, adolescence, and childhood, which required the selection of 65 documents and articles from diverse data bases. The second phase of the selection process was carried out in an inductive way, using the categories that emerged after the analysis of the summaries of the first phase; this required the selection of a total of 54 documents that guided the general construction of the text. From this perspective, the article gathers different theoretical-conceptual views oriented to establish a global view with relation to the psychologist’s role at school and his relationship with the sexual education.
