This document analyzes the impact of investment in science technology and innovation, in the economic growth of countries, based on evolutionary economics. To link the literature with the objective of the work, data from 8 countries, 4 belonging to the OECD and 4 that do not, will be used, with which, and through an econometric data panel model, the relationship between both variables will be established. Based on the literature, there is a positive relationship between the investment made in R & D and economic growth, which is supported by the results found.
