Análisis multitemporal de la cobertura vegetal, zonas de erosión y dirección del cauce, en la cuenca del río Cravo Sur, comprendido desde el municipio de Socha en el departamento de Boyacá hasta el municipio de Yopal en el departamento de Casanare
The analysis of the changes over time and the trends of the different types of cover, erosion zones and the main channel, allow us to relate the location of these and the variables that influence the spatial distribution of the changes. Based on this information, the area’s most likely to vary in the landscape can be identified. GIS and remote sensing tools such as Remote Sensing Images (Satellite Images and Aerial Photographs) were used to develop this work. Geometric, radiometric and atmospheric corrections were made to the Landsat images used for multitemporal analysis, using Idrisi Selva and ArcGis 10.2.2 software, which, when processed, allow the identification and comparison of the state of the vegetation coverage, the erosion zones and the direction of the main course of the Cravo Sur River. The vegetation coverage was made based on the international methodology Corine Land cover adapted with a level of detail at a scale of 1:100,000, which was later analyzed statistically with the aim of determining the trends of change over time. To identify erosion zones, the slope-based vegetation index method was used to identify the different types of soil erosion that have occurred throughout the basin. Finally, the analysis of the main course of the Cravo Sur River was carried out in the municipalities of Labranzagrande and Yopal, where the change in the direction of the course was identified by means of photo-interpretation, in addition to its relationship with the growth of urban centers and the development of alluvial fans.
