It is important to highlight that, although there are some financial regulations in Colombia, they have not been enough to control the dominant position of banking institutions, as will be analyzed later, there being an important negative behavior that affects the rights of the financial consumer. This insufficient regulation, added to the ignorance of the rights presented by the vast majority of consumers, allows banking institutions to commit a greater number of inappropriate behaviors in their financial activity. It is hoped that the presentation of this report will seek the State's conscience in the defense of the financial consumer's rights, as well as the improvement of a better balance of supply and demand compared to the fees for the use of banking services as a service public
