La presente investigacion tiene como objetivo general determinar las razones o circunstancias de la falta de competitividad,productividad e innovacion en la industria de la moda en Cucuta con relacion al resto del pais, para buscar alternativas deproduccion que ayuden a incrementar la competitividad. Para lograr el proposito se realizo un estudio explicativo/cualitativoacerca de los factores determinantes de la competitividad en las empresas cucutenas en el contexto empresarial. Basado en aspectosde orden teorico, se trata de realizar un analisis acerca de que tan competitivas pueden ser las empresas de Cucuta y suarea Metropolitana al enfrentar el mundo de la globalizacion, ademas de una serie de elementos conceptuales y teoricos quepermite determinar la importancia de la competitividad en el mundo empresarial.Para ello se realizo un estudio descriptivo atodo el proceso dinamico que implica para que una empresa llegue a ser competitiva y auto sostenible en la ciudad, y asi lograrposicionarse como referente antes las demas. Este estudio se realizo mediante una encuesta y entrevista personal a aquellas aempresas dedicadas al ambito empresarial de la moda en Cucuta como partida para identificar el grado de competitividad enque se encuentra la industria de la moda, ademas teniendo en cuenta estudios realizados anteriormente e informes dados porla Camara De Comercio de Cucuta en avances de competitividad del cluster de la moda cucutena.Como resultados destacables de evidencio que hoy en dia ante la dinamica de una competencia agresiva, es necesario generarventajas competitivas, estrategias de productividad e innovacion que esten enfocadas al alcance diario de la competitividadmediante factores como el valor agregado, la calidad y el diseno para fidelizar al cliente y a la vez aumentar el intercambio economicode la region. Ademas se puede mostrar que hace falta un mayor grado de compromiso por parte de las empresas ya queuno de los mayores problemas que se presentan en la industria de la moda es la falta de estandarizacion de sus procesos y undireccionamiento estrategico que fomente la eficiencia y eficacia de las organizaciones tomando como base el talento humano.PALABRAS CLAVE: Competitividad, productividad, innovacion, ventajas competitivas, diferenciacion, cluster de la moda, valor agregado.AbstractThis research has the overall objective to determine the reasons and circumstances of the lack of competitiveness, productivityand innovation in the fashion industry in Cucuta with the rest of the country, to seek alternatives that would help increasecompetitiveness. This study was conducted through a survey and staff to those companiesdedicated to the business of fashion in Cucuta and starting to identify the degree of competitiveness in the fashion industryis interview, also taking into account previous studies and reports given by the Chamber of Commerce of Cucuta in progresscompetitiveness cluster of cucutena fashion.As remarkable results evidenced today with the dynamics of aggressive competition, you need to build competitive advantage,productivity strategies and innovation that are focused on the daily reach of competitiveness through factors such as value added,quality and design for customer loyalty while increasing economic exchange in the region.
