In this document it is shown a comparative analysis of the approval variables for research projects. The analysis contrasts the perception of the institutional research coordinator with respect to the leader of the interdisciplinary research group for sustainability and business competitiveness from Cafam University. It was applyied the analytic network process-ANP (Saaty & Vargas, 2013) in order to determine the perception of the decision makers, generating results that show some differences between the perception of strategic and tactical level which indicates opportunities for improvement mediated by a greater rapprochement between the institutional coordination of research and the leader of the group.
