During the last decade, the production of climate information for decision making in conservation and biodiversity management, both in Colombia and in neighboring countries, has greatly increased. Seeking to promote adaptation and increase the resilience of strategic landscapes in the face of a changing climate, WWF and its partners have taken part of this development. In this work, we present seven illustrative experiences of such advances, to share the most relevant methods and results, evidencing the nature of inter-institutional alliances, lessons learned and barriers found in the implementation of different types of analysis, like the estimation of future change in temperature and precipitation, use of tools for hydrological modeling, application of systematic conservation planning exercises, estimation of changes in climate classification of strategic ecosystems using the Holdridge or Caldas Lang life zones, and creation of analyses based on perception and scientific information, such as ARCA and CAMPA, among others.
