This article makes some reflections and appreciations about the evolution of different conceptualizations of peace in order to analyze the challenges involved in the construction of new scenarios to think about and exert peace. This is based on participatory methodologies proposed by socio-praxis that allow the implementation of actions aimed at the critical-reflective analysis by communities about their networks and needs, with the goal of transforming and changing from the social foundation for the construction of an authentic and permanent peace.
