The importance of the landscape is about the connection between natural and cultural components that integrate a community-territory. For that reason, it implies notions of environmental conservation and cultural identity. However, it is necessary to know different research studies that have been generated in recent years in specific places in the world that allow the identification of educational processes and landscape management; in addition, the collection of approaches that guide on the perception, valuation and conservation of the landscape. For gathering the information, the Tree o Science was used for a query in Web of Science. The results allowed us obtaining a theoretical and practical approach to the evolution of landscape management concepts (cultural, natural, ecosystems, geoecological), the importance of landscape education and different perspectives (assessment, perception, environment, well-being, evaluation, and landscape sustainability). The study also contributes to make a diagnosis of current knowledge concerning the theoretical and empirical references of landscape education, results of the case estudies and methodologies to make landscape management processes. Besides that, it helps also serves as an advisory article for interested researches who want to investigate education and management in cultural landscapes.
