The problems faced by the Colombian goverment occur in specific areas, but in very few occasions interventions have been carried out inside and from the territories. In the case of anti-drug policy, in particular the Eradication of illicit crops, the same treatment has been given to all areas of the country affected by planting. The most recent stage of this public policy, established in the municipalities of the Sierra de la Macarena National Natural Park, is presented as a scenario to implement territorial eradication actions that also include the consolidation of institutions and economic and human conditions that allow the definitive abandonment of coca plant as a source of life and death.
