espanolEl presente articulo registra los resultados de la investigacion que se realizo desde el oriente colombiano entorno a la dinamica cultural que tiene Bucaramanga, capital del departamento de Santander, Colombia. El documento expone los argumentos teoricos y conceptuales que sirvieron de base para luego indagar sobre las expresiones artisticas, los bienes, servicios y practicas culturales que los ciudadanos identifican, consumen y realizan con mayor frecuencia. Por ser un ejercicio investigativo de caracter formativo, se oriento la investigacion en el campo de la exploracion-descripcion y utilizo tecnicas del orden cuantitativo. La recoleccion de informacion se hizo a traves del analisis documental a 59 ediciones de periodicos locales y mediante una muestra de tipo aleatorio no probabilistico, consultando 191 personas. Segun los resultados, los impresos difunden y motivan a sus lectores a participar de actividades culturales centradas en cine 35%, musica 20%, exposiciones 16%, literatura 15%, teatro 11% y danza 3%. Es decir, el registro informativo centra su atencion en la denominada alta cultura, que contrasta con el acceso y consumo del grupo encuestado, que afirma ver television en su tiempo libre (97%), leer (63%), hacer vida social (63%) y un reducido 22% lo dedica a actividades de espectaculos culturales. Los bienes y servicios a los que mas afirma acceder los encuestados son: musica-copia (78%) del genero vallenato (21%) y peliculas-copia (73%) de comedia (23%). Afirman haber leido un (1) libro en los ultimos seis meses y la tematica preferida, espiritualidad 21%. The paper presents the theoretical and conceptual arguments, which formed the basis for then, enquire about artistic expressions, goods, services and cultural practices that citizens identify, consume and perform more often. Data collection was done through documentary analysis and 59 editions of local newspapers and through a non-probability sample of random type, at 191 people.
