Consumer law has been having an evolution since its previous stage to the 1991 Constitution to nowadays, achieving noteworthy achievements, creating tools, instruments and actions in favor of consumers and strengthening this new field of the legal science. This paper makes a hightlight with the aim that from the academy, the consumer law will be study in a deeper way, giving it in the application of a constitutional shade that will contribute to the continuous development. Furthermore, raises the need of the creation of tools in the regional level that allow amplify and improve in efficacy terms the safeguard that the consumer law exercises of the protection of the citizens guarantees as owners of goods and services.
