Resumen: Se examinan los rasgos estilisticos de Altazor (1931) y Fervor de Buenos Aires (1923) estableciendo relaciones entre dichas obras y el movimiento Modernista y el Vanguardista en Hispanoamerica. El proposito es reflexionar sobre los mecanismos de experimentacion poetica en estas dos obras importantes de la literatura latinoamericana que contribuyen a la conformacion de una tradicion literaria consolidada. El estudio se realizo a traves del analisis poetico de autores como Yurkievich (1996), Rama (2006) y Gutierrez Girardot (1988), teniendo en cuenta elementos formales comunes entre los dos poemarios. Entre los elementos analizados se encuentran la fantasia creadora, la anormalidad, la disonancia y la vision ironica, que construyen una poetica reflexiva sobre los cambios psicologicos y sociales de la Hispanoamerica de finales del siglo XIX. Se puede concluir que ambos trabajos expresan la conciencia moderna del rol del autor como obrero de la palabra, y el papel que el mismo juega en una sociedad cuyos principios y visiones atraviesan un cambio. Abstract: The stylistic features of Altazor (1931) and Fervor de Buenos Aires (1923) are examined, establishing relations between these works and the Modernist and Vanguard movement in Hispanic America. The purpose is to reflect on the mechanisms of poetic experimentation in these two important works of the regional literature, which contribute to the formation of a consolidated literary tradition. The analysis was made through a comparative textual hermeneutics that compared and contrasted formal elements between the two poems collections. Among the analyzed elements are the creative fantasy, the abnormality, the dissonance and the ronic vision, which construct a reflective poetic on the psychological and social changes of the late nineteenth-century Hispanic America. It can be concluded that both works express the modern consciousness of the role of the author as a worker of the word, and the role it plays in a society whose principles and visions go through a change.
