This document aims to develop a critical reflection on the challenges of the private sector (national and international) in the post-agreement process in Colombia, understanding that their participation is key to carry out the construction of a sustainable and lasting peace in time. Recent surveys carried out by government entities indicate that close to 50% of Colombian business associations express low or no expectations of the agreement and that they were not even convinced of their signature, which calls into question their willingness and cooperation. However, it was found that a small percentage of entrepreneurs not only support the implementation of the agreements but has already taken action on the matter, developing socio-economic plans and programs that integrate ex-combatants and victims of the conflict in a single scenario.
