Impacto de una intervención breve en el afrontamiento diádico, la satisfacción en la relación y la adherencia al tratamiento, en pacientes con VIH positivo y sus parejas
Patients who are diagnosed with HIV positive and their partners, have high levels of stress that can not only affect the course of their disease, but also the relationship of a partner; a series of interventions have been formulated in oden to promoting dyadic coping strategies in pairs; however, studies on people with HIV positive are limited; The objective of this research is to examine the impact of a brief intervention on dyadic coping, relationship satisfaction and adherence to treatment in people with HIV and their partners. An increase in the level of dyadic coping variables and relationship satisfaction is identified; however, due to the tendency of the data, it is not possible to determine with certainty that the treatment is the cause of this change. In the Treatment Adherence Variable, it did not show negative or positive changes, it was a constant. The data is discussed based on Bodemann theory.
