Los procesos de educación ambiental en el departamento del Meta, como estrategia de desarrollo regional sostenible, el caso de la Cuenca del Río Melúa, municipio de Puerto López, Meta, 2010 - 2012
Developments at the environmental research, has been growing in the country and more so when it comes to case studies, which generate significant impacts on the community in the various dimensions of development. In this sense, this research reflects the state of environmental education in the cuenca del rio Melua, municipality of Puerto Lopez, Meta, revealing strengths and weaknesses in the subject. For this, we analyzed from different topics, education legislation in force in the country, with gaps of one form or another, directly affect the geographic area of study. The educational community and the community at large, was instrumental in the completion of the investigation, because without them, it would be impossible to develop the necessary strategies for planning new regional approaches that can easily be replicated in other parts of the country. Among the tools for data acquisition, we used different tools and techniques such as surveys, social mapping, participant observation, SWOT analysis and participatory territorial diagnostics, among others. The current problem that happens in the department of Meta and especially cuenca del rio Melua, is no stranger to other regions of the country, where the major energy companies have a presence, which is why the research is a reflection of political, social, environmental and economic, which shows the contribution and development granting these companies often are insignificant for large profits that Colombian subsoil. It is noteworthy that the community recognizes the contribution of the oil majors, but are aware that further work is unified and both the private and state, so that the aggregate value of earnings, is reflected in development integral region. The results are significant for the generation of a proposed environmental education cuenca del rio Melua, where the community at large, should be the protagonist, with good support from the local management and the private sector, providing resources for adequate regional development and sustainable development that meets the needs of all. With the dimensions of development established in research, we propose a mathematical model of a linear, which is the basis for further studies in these specific areas of knowledge, while should relate transdisciplinary way, creating synergies with the scientific community .
