This article contains the result of the professional practice process carried out in the OHSJD Hospital San Rafael de Pasto, which aimed to build a clinical guide aimed at guiding the diagnostic and interventional processes of the disorders in child and adolescent population. The methodology used consisted in the adoption of the institutional requirements for the creation of clinical guidelines, and the scientific documentary review of the etiology, course, prognosis, signs, symptoms, diagnostic criteria, and classification of the dystrophic disorders, to finally design the intervention protocol for this pathology. The clinical guide had an interdisciplinary scope and applied for the use of diverse professionals belonging to the field of mental health. The GPCTCECHIA for dystrophic disorders responded to a contextual need and generated an impact in the psychotherapeutic intervention, due to the high prevalence of this type of disorders in the child and adolescent population of the region.
