The present work sought to investigate the economic changes in the municipality of San Andres de Cuerquia (Antioquia) generated by the construction of the Hidroituango project. With this intention, an ethnographic approach was made to the people to deepen the daily life of the locals and thus understand the relationships between them and the project. This done, it was found that the presence of the hydroelectric plan configured a corporate territory that restructured local economic relations, through the guidelines in which it was territorialized.
