The musical language is not yet seen as a relevant source of study for the history, since there is a long historiographic tradition that has unable an approach and significant treatment. For that reason, is necessary to raised new forms of deal with it, since a critical historiographic framework, understanding it as a essential part of the cultural dimension. For it, the present article, starting of the philosophical proposal of Mauricio Beuchot: the analogy hermeneutics, and influence of the twists, linguistic, cultural and hermeneutic of the last decades of the XX century, looks forma the point of view of the location that males possible the musical languages as kind of useful source for understand a historical, social and a cultural dimension.
