Physical activity is considered one of the most important actions of the human being to improve health and reduce the risks of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and obesity. Likewise, physical activity helps to improve functional capacity and reduces phantasy and fatigue in the activities of the daily life of the human being. Objective: To establish the social determinants of health as predictors of healthy physical condition in schoolchildren between 12 and 18 years of age in the municipality of Riosucio, Caldas. Methodology: From the quantitative point of view, this study was of a transversal descriptive type with a correlation phase. A sample of 336 students enrolled in the different establishments of public character of the municipality of Riosucio, Caldas, which were chosen at random with a reliability of 95%, was used. Inclusion criteria: The study participants should be in an age range between 12 and 18 years of age completed at the time of the evaluation, have duly completed the informed consent form by the parents and / or guardian and after that, the student's voluntary participation in the study. For the respective evaluation of the physical condition Alpha Fitness battery was used, after this, a well structured survey was applied where the determinants to be evaluated were included. Results: The 82.4% of the students presented an unhealthy physical condition, it was observed that there is an association between the variable that performs sport and the physical condition. Conclusions: Taking into account the level of unhealthy physical condition in the students evaluated, statistical association was shown with the determinants, frequency of liquor with whom they live, frequency of liquor at home.
