The Rebellion of the Cronopians. A reading about the production of the immaterial worker in neoliberafism, in the field of digital animation in Bogota. (2010-2016), is a master thesis that starts from a self-ethnographic exercise in which I reflect on my experience as an entrepreneur in the cultural production sector. From there and using different methodologies with a transdisci plin ary approach proper of cultural studies, I research the aspects related to the configuration of labor conditions that affect the field of cultural production and the economic service sector. The broad purpose of this research is to explore and criticize the production of the immaterial labor within Neo-liberalism; A problem that I contextualize in the field of digital animation in Bogota between 2010 and 2016. This critical reading identifies the problem of the precariousness of the worker as of life itself, together with the social, economic, ethical and political implications within the neoliberal paradigm. In this sense, this thesis reacts against the processes of adjustment to neoliberalism, and against the continuing reduction of ethical and political debates to seemingly pragmatic, neutral and apolitical issues. I propose the need for approaches different to those offered by developmental policies related to cultural production, and with it. the introduction of debates and lines of action from where to rethink and critically intervene the field of digital animation as well as the public policies associated with the contemporary immaterial worker production crisis.
