The research was developed in the Base Unit (UEB) “Enrique Varona” of the Azcuba Sugar Enterprise, located in Chambas municipality, in Ciego de Avila province, with the objective of establishing a flowchart of the process of sugar cane harvesting and transpor- tation in highly humid soils. The flowcharts established by using the computer tool MAPINFO, supported on elements from the system of geographical information, allowed to establish an order for the process of sugar cane harvesting and transportation that reduces the distances and allows saving fuel in transportation by locating the load points in places where the indicators for transport are more rational.
