It presents the results of the research carried out with families and students from 8 to 10 promoted by the fundamental role of family support for child learning, which is why the development of: analyzing the possible relationships between the family context and the school context of 4th grade students of the Francisco Julian Olaya High School. Methodology: This is a review article and as such shows the partial results of a research developed with fourth grade students at the Francisco Julian Olaya high school that is part of the Army High Schools, in Bogota. That for its development it investigated, analyzed, systematized and integrated the results of published research and of the own investigations, in the field of education. For the development and achievement of its objective, there was a mixed investigation that corresponds to a correlational study that establishes a relationship and / or association between two or more variables (Paramo, 2010), with elements of quantitative and qualitative characteristics, the population was represented by 14 students, 6 of them were chosen taking into account the behavioral factor as follows: 2 with high behavior, whose actions within the class were participation, two with intermediate behavior, between two and three actions of participation in class and 1 2 more actions that were distracting. Finally, 2 students with low behavior, who performed 5 to 6 distracting actions in the classroom. In addition, another six students were chosen taking into account their academic performance, as follows: the two high performance, two medium performance and the last two basic performance. Regarding the technique, it was selected in consideration of relevance, ease and relationship through participatory observation (survey); the instruments were made up of the survey and behavioral observation. The process and that related to the identification, analysis of the family context and school context of the students is based on the theoretical contextualization of relevant concepts for research, such as: family, school, behavioral, academic performance and from there The variables that allow analyzing the relationships between family context and school context are established. In conclusion, the relationship between family context and school context gave during this research are: A. Higher age of the parents, better academic performance of the child. B. Own house, better academic performance. C. Greater distance from home to school, basic performance. D. higher frequency to play outside during the week, better academic performance. E. Habits of reading, high academic performance. F. Family accompaniment high academic performance. G. Superior behavior, the family composition is: father and mother. H. Place of residence safe superior behavior. I. students with low behavior live in a leased house. J. High performance, students read the newspaper, they have reading habits and they have more than 100 books at home and finally, K. low behavior, a short time of study dedication.
