Within the Colombian territory, various programs have been deployed to strengthen infrastructure, productivity, education and health, the same plan that aims to recover the expansion of social inequality. In the last decade, the city of Barranquilla has presented a upturn related with public and private investment, based on the correct policies promoted by the local government to eliminate social inequality by systems aimed to reduce differences that persist today. However, the number of people who moved and took up residence in the capital of the Atlantico Department ended up affecting the budgetary variables, affecting social programs, social coverage and the population that make up the department.
