The cell phone is a new means of communication in society that allows various ways to keep people in contact, its excessive use is associated with the presence of nomophobia, this being the reason to inquire about what are the predisposing factors and maintainers in the presence of Nomophobia in the students linked to the University Corporation Minuto de Dios - Bucaramanga? The general objective is to identify the relationship between the predisposing factors and maintainers in the presence of Nomophobia in the psychology students linked to the University Corporation Minuto de Dios, Bucaramanga. The methodology has a mixed approach; descriptive scope - correlational and non-experimental design; the participants were 552 students from the Uniminuto Psychology program selected in a non-probabilistic manner for convenience. An adaptation of the Cell Related Experiences Questionnaire (CERM) was applied. The results obtained show that 37% and 39% respectively of the people surveyed present predisposing factors and maintainers that favor the presence of nomophobia.
