It has been considered that corruption has an influence in Colombian because it exacerbates conflict. As a result, corruption is an important matter in the psychological field, even more when the studies in this subject were limited. This research had the goal of discover what factors affect lay people s attitudes of the tolerance of corruption situations, based on Unified Social Cognition theory. The participants (401 people living in Bogota) were shown vignettes describing corruption situations. The concrete cases were constructed using a factorial design. Four clusters of people were founded and two variables were the most significant in the evaluation process. The factors were the type of person who committed the corruption action and the medium used in that actions.
