Transformación del bosque seco tropical y del servicio ecosistémico de apoyo "habitat para especies" en los municipios pertenecientes a la jurisdicción de la hidroeléctrica el Quimbo (Huila, Colombia) durante los años 2000 y 2016
Initially the general characterization of the study area was carried out, for this characterization the methodology of the integral landscape analysis used by (Montoya-Rojas et al, 2016), where the main environmental components (atmospheric, hydrospheric, geosphere, biospheric and antropospheric) that conform and sustain the capacity of the landscape. Having obtained the characterization of the study area and taking into account the methodology of identification of ecological dynamics by landscape modeling and environmental components carried out by (Montoya-Rojas, 2011), the profile of natural hazards by landscape modeling present in The area of study. Subsequently, through the multitemporal analysis, the tropical dry forest and the coverages of the Earth (according to the Corine Land Cover methodology adapted for Colombia) are determined by means of a supervised classification; The coverages identified are arbustal, dense forest, fragmented forest, forest of galleries, bodies of water, herbazal, mosaic of crops and urbanized areas. To perform this analysis, Landsat 5, 7 and 8 satellite images were used for the years 2007, 2000 and 2016 respectively. The tropical dry forest in the year 2000 had a total extension of 1,401.89 ha. Corresponding to 0.63% of the coverage identified in the study area; However, with the passage of time and due to the accelerated increase in the development of anthropic activities, this ecosystem for the year 2016 had a decrease of 1,150.56 ha, leaving only an extension of 251.33 ha. (0.11%) of what was available for the year 2000. Based on the results obtained, the state of the ecosystem service habitat for species is analyzed through the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI); Since, this index allows to analyze the quality and quantity of the vegetation. Between the time window selected, this ecosystem service was reduced by 44.02%.
