Resultados clínicos post- operatorios de turbinoplastia en pacientes con rinitis alérgica moderada-severa persistente en el servicio de otorrinolaringología del Hospital Militar Central
There are currently many pharmacological strategies to treat persistent moderate-severe allergic rhinitis and secondary nasal obstruction in many cases associated with lower turbinate hypertrophy; When patients do not present an adequate response to medical management, it is necessary to resort to surgical management, hoping that the results obtained will be favorable to the patient. According to what is published in the literature, most patients report improvement in symptoms, while others, despite surgical management, refer to the same or even worsening of symptoms. It is necessary to describe the outcome of those patients who are taken to surgery (turbinoplasty) at the Otorhinolaryngology Service of the Central Military Hospital (Bogota , Colombia) to have a reference of how effective this management is according to what is clinically referred by patients with moderate allergic rhinitis -It's persistent.
