This text seeks to support, based on a documentary tracing the relevance of exploring the concepts, values and practices of parents, students, teachers and managers of educational institutions, regarding their responsibilities the management of the Institutional Education Project, for the purposes that should guide the project and the scenarios and participation tools that are available to practice participation in educational management. It is hoped that from this discussion will encourage inquiry and reflection about the sites and mechanisms of participation in school, and what their purpose to promote and strengthen the relationship between families and the institution, interest of the building and participatory implementation of the Institutional Education Projects and improving the quality of education.
