This research was drawn as a fundamental objective; analyze the culture of power companies in the solidarity economy in Santa Marta sector. The study was focused on the qualitative paradigm, based on direct observation and inductive method, using hermeneutics, interpretation, participant observation and in-depth interviews as tools for data collection in companies in the sector of solidarity economy Santa Marta district. The results revealed that the behavior of employees in organizations of solidarity economy is controlled by the state that guarantees efficiency, quality and innovation of these companies to monitor the conduct of employees identifying areas with training needs. It is concluded that power, considered from its political dimension, is immersed in the culture of the companies in the solidarity economy in Santa Marta area element exercised by the State as the primary means of transmission and expansion of influence in the exercise of their obtaining leadership effectiveness of organizational control.
