Análisis de patrones de espacio colectivo en vivienda popular. Caso de estudio barrio Meissen y barrio Villas del Diamante en la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá
The development of the research is directed around the question: What are the dynamics of transformation of the collective space in self-construction neighbourhoods and what are their causes? The case studies are the neighbourhoods of Meissen and Villas de Diamante in Ciudad Bolivar area, in Bogota. The research states a comparative analyses, it is due to the presence of substantially different determinants in each of these neighbourhoods. The research problem is aimed to understand and characterize the particular urban patterns of the public space of these two neighbourhoods, in order to provide elements to future intervention of public and private agents in them, since they do not usually take into account these traditional constructive elements. This research is developed in four methodological phases. Firstly, the analyses of the secondary information about the case studies. Secondly, the fieldwork to identify patterns. Thirdly, the characterization of the identified patterns; and finally, the analysis of the patterns. As a final result of the research, it is found that the dynamics of use and appropriation of the collective space in the case studies are around both the previous customs of people and geographical characterization, this last aspect is understood as the element that determines the use of the land and therefore the intervention of the public space.
