In the context of the Colombian armed conflict, recruitment to Children, Adolescents and Youth is classified at the international level as one of the worst forms of child labor, violation of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. The Colombian State as guarantor of rights has developed different actions for the prohibition, eradication and punishment of these dynamics; Has focused on developing strategies for the effective restoration of the rights of victims of conflict, especially those who are disengaged and their social, family and emotional reintegration. Nevertheless; The phenomenon of recidivism among young ex-combatants who ended their reintegration process has been little investigated until today, however, it is still evident that this problem is increasing in the country. Thus; The institutions responsible for the reintegration of children and young people who are disengaged from armed groups should take into account previous research into the phenomenon of recidivism in ex- combatants and in this way rethink and incorporate mechanisms that reduce the likelihood that Young people who leave the reintegration programs, return to an iIlegal and criminal life.
