This article presents some central issues derived by an investigation in course about the Guaviare river, to the southeast of Colombia. Because the multiculturalism of the territory analyzed and the processes that have been crossed it, the investigation is strengthed of the history, the anthropology, the politic and the geography, looking for analyze the configuration of regional spaces in the transitional zone savannah-jungle, which is marked by the route of the Guaviare river. In this context, one of the aspects that permit to understand the process of territorial configuration, is represented by the transformations and remeanings cultural that make the indigenous communities whenever the imposition of foreign patterns to their culture, subject to them by pressure extreme that force them to leave their territories and want new territories where they be able to guarantee the biological and social survive of the group.
