This research propose a perspective in response to the traditional tendency to think the school as an entity transmitting knowledge, as an instrument of state modernization, regardless of the social in which the university practices become, in this research paper seeks to discern the meaning and significance of how appears critical pedagogy as the ability to think also the school space, especially university, as a cultural and political contestation, struggle and resistance, as can configure subjects able to take away from economic paradigms, oppressive political and cultural, as which necessarily involves the community context in which they become.
