This article is based on a pedagogical experience developed within the framework of the “Mi cine accesible” project that allows us to account for the possibilities of art to educate a citizenry and to perceive the difference without fear and openness to other ways of being. Thus, art is present as a language of connection and as a tool that allows communication and recognition in the other, the transformation of the senses, relationships and culturally shared meanings. Training plans are educational tools that from the cultural management help to direct cultural actions towards a goal of social transformation. Educating through art allows us to expand sensibilities and ways of communicating to connect with other realities where changes need to be made, in this case, it's about including the population with visual and auditory disabilities of the city of Manizales in one of the most representative cinematographic of the city. The objective of this article tells how was the process of design and application of the “Plan for audiences in Colombian cinema for people with visual or hearing disabilities” within the framework of the “Mi cine accesible” project of the Redespiral Foundation in Manizales.
