Technology has occupied a prominent place in contemporary society. The epistemological roots of technology are strengthened in the philosophicalscientific project of Modernity. However, the influence and autonomy of the technological phenomenon has brought to social life a series of elements and lifestyles that transform and define a type of subject for whom it is becoming increasingly difficult to fit in a social project and ends up being snatched by the dynamics of consumption, artificiality and techno-systems lacking a clear anthropology. This article aims to show some of those elements, find their roots in the development of Modern thinking and also to show its consequences to draw a field of research in humanities eager for its exploration.
