En Colombia, el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (2010-2020) senala que el proposito fundamental de los proximos cuatro anos sera mejorar la calidad de la educacion, considerada el instrumento mas poderoso para reducir la pobreza y el camino mas efectivo para alcanzar la prosperidad. El objetivo de esta investigacion es hacer una valoracion sobre la formacion docente en el area de la cultura fisica en Colombia, para ello se realiza una revision de la bibliografia y una caracterizacion del estado actual de la Educacion Basica Primaria en Colombia. ABSTRACT In Colombia, the National Development Plan (2010-2020) states that the fundamental purpose of the next four years will be to improve the quality of education, considered the most powerful instrument to reduce poverty and the most effective way to achieve prosperity.
