Trayectorias educativas de personas beneficiarias del Programa Crédito Beca para posgrados en el exterior de la Fundación para el Futuro de Colombia Colfuturo (2010-2014) : aproximación desde un enfoque de género
The objective of this research is to make an analysis of the people that have been beneficiary of the Credit-Scholarship Program for international postgraduate studies given by the Fundacion para el Futuro de Colombia-Colfuturo between 2010 and 2014 from a gender perspective, in order to identify factors that produce differences and inequities in the construction of their educative trajectories. This is an exploratory study of a descriptive nature and it is developed from a mixed methodology that combines the articulation of qualitative and quantitative research strategies. As part of the analysis, the tendencies of formation by the areas of knowledge that prevail in undergraduate and postgraduate studies are noted, as well as the selected institutions, the social demands of the professionals and the dynamics of internationalization processes, together with a sociodemographic characterization and a description of their social trajectories. Likewise, the elements that have facilitated or hindered the access of these people to postgraduate formation in terms of their decisions, interests and opportunities are studied. This analysis allows to explore the changes and transformations in higher education from a gender perspective, to contribute to the understanding of the feminization of education and to generate recommendations for the formulation of policies.
