The conceptual and experimental art practices that emerged in Latin America in the 1960-1980 period arise increasing interest today. The history of these practices is part of a movement of recovery of the continent’s cultural memory, as they were closely linked to political activity, uncomfortable to great political and economic powers. Today they are in vogue. This article examines and summarizes the exhibitions and studies about that period in Latin America with emphasis on the Colombian case.
