In this work, EVE developed a theorical route for the authors who have developed the hypertext and its account with literature and education, and it allows indicating although the development of the hypertext, it has not been studied and employed too much, that's the reason for some doubts about its potential. The hypertext, defined by some authors as a non-linear writing that allows the free movement of the reader, is recommended in the educational area for the freedom of learning that provides students, but has failed to really permeate the school, largely by the lack of technological knowledge of teachers and the fear they have no control. In addition to this, the state of the art is still too little to confirm the potential of hypertext in education.
